Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-09-19
This policy explains how Samuel Pereira handles personal information when your business uses TallyTurn.
Information we collect
We process account names and email addresses; organization, contributor, timezone, and role details; work sessions, breaks, notes, supporting links, corrections, and audit history; and billing status and Stripe customer identifiers. Our providers may also process technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP address and request logs.
How we use it
We use information to authenticate users, record and display work, create reports, manage invitations, provide support, detect misuse, and administer subscriptions. Language and some interface preferences are saved on your device. TallyTurn does not currently collect GPS readings, screenshots, keylogging, browser history, or webcam recordings.
Who can see work data
Contributors can access their own time data. Organization admins can view and manage company-wide work records, corrections, and exports. Your business controls whom it invites and activates. We may access information only as needed to operate, support, secure, or legally protect the service.
Payments
Stripe hosts card entry and the Customer Portal. We receive customer and subscription identifiers, status, billing dates, and payment outcomes needed to provide access and support. TallyTurn does not store complete card numbers or card security codes.
Service providers and disclosures
We use Supabase for account and database services, Stripe for billing, and a hosting provider to deliver the website. They process information to provide their services to us. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable requirements. We do not use work records for advertising.
Retention and deletion
We retain account, organization, billing, audit, and timekeeping records while an account is active and afterward as reasonably needed to provide the service, preserve business records, resolve disputes, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion by contacting us, but records may be retained when legally required or necessary to protect legitimate interests. A canceled or unpaid subscription does not by itself erase work history. Contact per25024@byui.edu to request an export, correction, or deletion; some information may need to be retained for security, billing, or legal obligations.
Your choices
You can update account and billing details in the app and Stripe Portal. Organization admins can review and export work records. For privacy questions or requests about access, correction, or deletion, contact per25024@byui.edu. We will handle requests under applicable law and may need to verify your identity.
Security
We use access controls and other safeguards designed to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Use a strong password and contact us if you suspect an account or data incident.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy as our practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. For privacy questions, contact per25024@byui.edu.
