Terms of Use

Effective 2026-09-19

These terms explain how Samuel Pereira provides TallyTurn to business customers. Please read them before starting a trial.

What TallyTurn does

TallyTurn is a bilingual work log for small teams. It records work sessions, breaks, notes, corrections, and reports. It is not a payroll, legal-compliance, or tax-filing service. Your business is responsible for reviewing records and meeting its employment and recordkeeping obligations.

Accounts and contributors

The business owner manages its organization, invites contributors, and is responsible for authorized use of its account. Contributors can access their own time data; organization admins can access company-wide records. The Founding plan supports up to 20 active contributors. Keep sign-in credentials private and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

30-day trial and automatic billing

Choose $10 per month or $100 per year before Checkout. A payment card is required, but the trial begins with $0 charged. Unless you cancel before the 30-day trial ends, Stripe automatically charges your selected price when the trial ends and renews it each month or year until you cancel. Applicable tax, if any, is shown in Checkout or on an invoice. We send a trial-ending reminder about seven days before the first charge; check your account and billing email even if a message is delayed or filtered.

Canceling and payment methods

An organization admin can open Settings → Billing & plan → Manage billing to reach Stripe's Customer Portal. There you can update your card or cancel at any time. Cancel during the trial to prevent the first charge. A paid subscription canceled through the Portal normally stays available through the already-paid period, then stops renewing. Cancellation does not erase historical work records.

Failed payments and access

If a payment fails, we may notify the billing email and show a warning in the app. TallyTurn currently allows up to three days of past-due access for new work. After that, or when a subscription is unpaid, canceled, or paused, the organization cannot start new shifts or activate contributors. Someone already on a shift can still finish it safely. The owner can use Manage billing to update payment details where Stripe permits recovery.

Work records and availability

Your business should review and export its records regularly. A billing-status change alone does not delete them. Internet and service interruptions can occur; a clock action is complete only when the app confirms it was saved. Do not rely on TallyTurn as the sole copy of records needed for payroll or legal compliance.

Questions and changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will identify the effective date and provide any additional notice or consent required by law before material changes apply. For questions about these terms or billing, contact per25024@byui.edu.
